Bug Tracking

Written by Critter on January 13, 2008 – 8:59 am -

I have added a link to the Bug Tracker I am using for SeesmicAIR. If you run into one, please submit it here, so that I can keep track of them (not that there are so many).

Also, if you think of an enhancement or feature request, it can be added there also.

SeesmicAIR has detached video

Written by Critter on January 12, 2008 – 10:48 pm -

I have actually been able to get quite a lot of work done on SeesmicAIR this weekend. I ported the video over to it’s own window today. It was a slight challenge, (getting the window, itself, to act correctly was more of a pita), but it’s done.

(don’t worry the interface arrangement is not carved in stone yet)

SeesmicAIR needs your graphic abilities!

Written by Critter on January 8, 2008 – 2:40 pm -

I would like to come up with a skinned interface for SeesmicAIR, but I have absolutely no graphic talent at all.

You can get the general idea of the application’s layout from the images in the previous update. The video window will be a slide out window. I am not sure if I will have it slide out the bottom or the side. I might be able to make that configurable. *adds to list*

So… If you would like to lend a hand with the project, please let me know..

SeesmicAIR Update

Written by Critter on January 6, 2008 – 1:36 pm -

Just a quick update on the interface. SeesmicAIR now has an update check function, that will allow you to keep up with the latest versions.

I’ve also implemented the ability to change your language preferences from within the application. These changes will also reflect in your account on Seesmic. I have a bit more work to do with the languages, though. I want to pull all the user information from Seesmic, so that I am not stepping on your original settings on their server. Basically what will happen is… You will login to SeesmicAIR and after a successful login your settings will be pulled from Seesmic.com and populate properly in SeesmicAIR.

I’ve also implemented time stamps on the timeline so you can tell how long ago the video was posted. Hovering over the time will also tell you what time it was posted.

Quite a few things left on my TODO list.

  • Automatic cycling of presented timeline
  • Minimize to systray
  • Notification of new videos via small popup window
  • Slide out video viewer
  • Playing of YouTube videos uploaded to Seesmic
  • Eventually…. recording and posting to Seesmic within the app.
