SeesmicAIR Update
Written by Critter on January 6, 2008 – 1:36 pm -Just a quick update on the interface. SeesmicAIR now has an update check function, that will allow you to keep up with the latest versions.
I’ve also implemented the ability to change your language preferences from within the application. These changes will also reflect in your account on Seesmic. I have a bit more work to do with the languages, though. I want to pull all the user information from Seesmic, so that I am not stepping on your original settings on their server. Basically what will happen is… You will login to SeesmicAIR and after a successful login your settings will be pulled from Seesmic.com and populate properly in SeesmicAIR.
I’ve also implemented time stamps on the timeline so you can tell how long ago the video was posted. Hovering over the time will also tell you what time it was posted.
Quite a few things left on my TODO list.
- Automatic cycling of presented timeline
- Minimize to systray
- Notification of new videos via small popup window
- Slide out video viewer
- Playing of YouTube videos uploaded to Seesmic
- Eventually…. recording and posting to Seesmic within the app.
